Message of Thiruvalluvar:
“Thirukkural is the life, Thiruvasagam is the heart and Thirumandiram is the soul of Tamil culture”.
“What God said to man is in Geeta; what man said to God is in Thiruvasagam; and what man said to man is in Thirukkural”.
Thus, Thirukkural was more concerned about the conduct of man in this world. He deals with man’s responsibilities to the society, to his family, to animals, to his subordinates, to his superiors and to his ruler and to God as well.
